Doonbeg Cottages are an ideal base from which to tour the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, West Clare, Kerry and Connemara coastline. The seaside resort of Kilkee is nearby, the spectacular rugged coastline extends all along from the cottages to the lighthouse on Loop Head Peninsula, selected as the "Best place to holiday in Ireland" by readers of the Irish Times in 2013 and als a European Special area of conservation.

The Cottages are surrounded by rolling farmland. Small & quiet country roads invite cycling and walking. It is only a short distance to the safe, sheltered, blue flag beach White Strand. The village of Doonbeg is 4kms away and offers shops, highly awarded restaurants and several pubs. The world renowned Golf Links course is located a few kms north of Doonbeg all along scenic Doughmore Strand, famous for excellent surfing conditions.

All cottages are fully equipped. You may watch the golden sun-set over the Atlantic from your comfortable sitting room with it's open hearth fireplace and view the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and Mt. Callan in the distance.

The houses each provide bright and spacious accommodation for 6 people. The country style kitchens are fully equipped with all modern facilities. The lounges cum dining rooms have comfortable furniture and open fire place, solid fuel or electric stove and also feature TV, Radio/CD and a selection of books. The garden with patio and garden furniture is perfect for children and dining out on the warmer days.
